Behind this door awaits brotherhood, you only need knock and wait with patience...
Orient-Topeka No. 17 was formed in 2023 with the merger of the two oldest Lodges in the State Capital of Kansas. We celebrate the history of both Orient No. 51 and Topeka No. 17, while remaining focused on delivering the premise on which both lodges were founded:
Making Good Men Better!
Freemasons view all humans as one family and commit to treating others with respect and understanding. They pledge to support those in need, offer wise counsel, and provide protection when necessary. Masons take responsibility for their communities, wherever they extend.
Freemasons believe in helping others overcome obstacles, whether through small acts of kindness or collective efforts. Kansas Masons provide thousands of dollars in donations for scholarships, cancer research, and countless other private and public relief projects.
Freemasons are taught to be men of honor and integrity, believing that justice is owed to everyone as part of the human family under God. They see truth as a divine attribute and the foundation of virtue, civility, and faith. Masons are expected to live by these teachings, especially in today's fast-paced and often isolating society.
